Fine print
- NOT AVAILABLE TO NEW APPLICANTS. Amex pulled the Green Card from its site and application flow on 2026-07-23; the old product URL now redirects to the main credit-cards page. Existing accounts were renamed 'American Express Classic Green Card' on 2026-08-20, with fee, earning and benefits unchanged.
- Reportedly still reachable by product change from the Gold or Platinum card. No welcome offer comes with a product change.
- Charge card with Pay Over Time. Additional cards have no annual fee (Card Member Agreement as of 06/30/2026). The 3x categories have no caps.
- The $100 LoungeBuddy credit was removed earlier; there is no lounge access.
