Fine print
- Charge card with Pay Over Time. The live product page shows the APR as '19.74% to 28.74% variable APR on eligible charges'.
- Additional cards: no fee for the first 5; $35 a year each for the 6th and beyond.
- The 4x supermarket rate applies only to U.S. supermarkets. Superstores, convenience stores, warehouse clubs and meal-kit services are excluded. Restaurant 4x is worldwide, but excludes restaurants inside hotels or venues and third-party delivery outside the U.S.
- 2026-04-30 refresh (Amex press release): prepaid hotels via Amex Travel went from 2x to 5x, Hertz Five Star status was added, and dining credit partners changed. The fee stayed at $325.
- No airport lounge access. Points are worth 0.6 cents each as a statement credit, and the card unlocks Amex transfer partners.
